Dear Kobe Bryant,
As a Lakers fan, I do not know how to tell you this because you’re a gamer. You’re a warrior. You’re a tough guy and we all get it and appreciate it. Believe me, we really appreciate the effort and your ability to play through pain. However and honestly, the last two games, you know, the ones without you in them, have been some of the best Lakers game I’ve seen in a long time. It’s fun to see Lamar Odom play up to his ability and run the floor and be the guy! It’s fun to see people like Jordan “Please Don’t Trade Me” Farmar and Sasha Vujacic step up.
I’m not saying that the Lakers are better without you because we know they’re not, but they’re more fun right now. So, rest now and get better for the real season.
